15–17 Clematis Drive, North Halls Gap

Locally managed by Jenny and Ian, the four townhouses sit close enough to Grampians National Park that kangaroos, emus, cockatoos and deer are regular visitors at the back fence. Between them, the four units sleep up to 26 guests — genuinely different homes sharing one address, not identical units, so a group can spread across several rather than squeeze into one.

Mornings here start with cockatoos on the balcony rail and the ranges catching the first light. A shared footpath runs along Grampians Road into the Halls Gap town centre, and by evening the fire's going in Townhouse 6, someone's at the telescope in Townhouse 2, and the whole complex has settled into whatever pace suits your group.
